In the year of 2000 my husband (Jody) and I (Shauna) purchased this 35 acre orchard from George and Brenda Shaw.  During the last few years we have put in a lot of time and hard work. I'm a special ed. teacher and Jody works the orchard full-time now. We've replanted several blocks of trees and added a few new varieties. Also, we have added several varieties of apple trees. They should be ready in a couple of years. We have four children: Shelby 18, Shandolyn 16, Ely 10, Colton 8, and one grandbaby Aubree Lynn 1.
